Screen Tech Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Owing to continued growth and expansion we are looking for a highly efficient and detail-oriented Screen Tech Specialist to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for the preparation, mixing, management, and quality control of inks used in the printing process. This role ensures accurate color matching, proper ink inventory management, and compliance with safety and environmental standards to support high-quality production output.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Ink Mixing & Preparation:

  • Daily checking printavo – and communicating with the manager for what is needed.
  • Preparing inks – using the pantone mixing system to correctly mix inks needed for jobs, checking ink shelves and ink lists.
  • Making screens – using the spyder, exposing them and washing them out.
  • Test all screen tension with gauge. Anything below 15 to be cut and re-meshed.
  • Conduct drawdowns and tests to verify color accuracy and consistency.
  • Adjust ink formulations during production runs as required.

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies when necessary. Screen racks to be full, mixing inks and other consumables to be ordered (2 always on shelf,
    order when opening last tub)
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and tracking of all inks.
  • Minimize waste through efficient ink usage and recycling practices.
  • Checking seps sent with proof sheets – making sure orientation is correct on screen. reporting
    any issues to management.
  • Perform quality checks to maintain colour standards and consistency.
  • Support the screen printing team in resolving ink-related issues.
  • Maintain records of formulations, usage, and adjustments.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised ink room and washout room – making sure items are put away properly, the washout booth is clear of ink/emulsion residue, all surfaces clean. Any spillages
    need to be cleaned immediately.
  • Cleaning/reclaiming screens – proper rotation of older screens being reclaimed before newer
    screens.
  • Maintenance of equipment and machinery – spyder, jetwash.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols regarding handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste disposal requirement

DAILY EXPECTATIONS

  • Communicating to management of daily output, what has been completed, what needs to be
    completed or any further issues that need to be resolved.
  • Ability to lift and carry ink containers (up to 25kg).
  • Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods in a production environment.
  • Tolerance to odors and chemicals with appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in an ink room or print production environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of colour theory and ink mixing processes.
  • Ability to operate colour matching software and mixing equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability to address colour or print-related issues quickly.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with production and screen printing teams.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Technical training or certification in print/ink technology (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in printing or related industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW

With our head office based in Reading, UK, we are currently recruiting for a Tour Accounts Assistant role that would be suitable for an ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for learning. Ideally this will suit someone who possess accounts experience and knowledge, either someone studying, or someone with relevant experience.

JOB ROLE

  • Reporting to the Head of Finance, supporting team members to process and monitor all business
    accounting activities.
  • Business Partnering the Tours Team, whose primary focus with dealing with musicians on tour in UK, US, EU.
  • Traditional transactional finance duties including maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers involving processing supplier invoices and credit notes, raising sales invoices and billing clients.
  • General ledger activities such as posting credit cards, petty cash and reconciling regularly.
  • Bank reconciliations including multi-currencies.
  • Credit control – producing accurate aged debtors’ analysis and chasing outstanding debt.
  • Preparing payment run process including communication to approvers/signatories, suppliers, budget
    holders and employees.
  • Dealing with both internal and external queries including liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
  • Client reconciliations – producing and sending these to clients on a regular basis.
  • Basic administration, including processing and organising of accounts correspondence.
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
  • Assisting with month-end processes.
  • Any additional tasks including routine office operations.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Experience in using Xero or similar accounts package
  • Can do attitude along with being an analytical thinker and problem solver with high numerical skills
  • Basic Bookkeeping experience including double entry bookkeeping
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually and to take direction accurately
  • Competent IT skills, particularly intermediate/advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (Google Sheets and Excel)
  • Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others as well as a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
  • The role requires high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Administrative skills
  • Minimum Level 3 AAT, Desirable Level 4
  • Full time and Office Based is essential Monday – Friday, 9-5
